Last week, CCPIT Ningbo led a delegation of textile and garment enterprises in Ningbo to attend the South Africa International Textile and Apparel Show in South Africa, which is the first time that Ningbo organized a group to explore the big African market.
During Cape Town, South Africa, eight companies, including Veken Group and Ningbo En Kai, attended the 2017 South Africa International Textile and Apparel and Footwear Expo and China Textile Fine Arts Fair held at the South Africa International Convention Center. More than 200 exhibitors from more than 10 countries and regions attended the fair. Visitors included 15 African countries such as South Africa and Kenya. South Africa China Textile Exhibition is China Textile Industry Federation in response to the "Belt and Road" initiative and the textile industry "going global" layout needs of the launch. Ningbo CCPIT, as a member of the organizing committee of the exhibition, took advantage of its own organization of international exhibitions and utilized the platform of South Africa exhibition developed by China National Textile and Apparel Council as a breakthrough point to help Ningbo enterprises expand the big African market.
After the meeting, the delegation went to Johannesburg for an international economic and trade inspection and was warmly received by Xu Jiaxiang, president of the Zhejiang Chamber of Commerce in southern Africa. Both sides held forums and conducted in-depth exchanges on the initiative of responding to China's "Belt and Road" initiative, giving full play to the role of bridge as a bridge between trade and industry, and strengthening bilateral two-way economic and trade exchanges between business community in South Africa and Ningbo entrepreneurs. Ningbo CCPIT also signed an agreement with Zhejiang Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Southern Africa on the strategic cooperation in international economic and trade exchanges. |
